I view education as a platform to learn life skills with an emphasis on physical, social, emotional, and mental health. Adolescence is a time of significant growth and development, and education can play an impactful role in a student’s life. The teaching and learning process is a collaborative endeavor that starts with a positive teacher-student relationship, recognizing the multifaceted experiences of each student. Teachers’ skills and students’ achievements are intertwined, and thus, education must incorporate both the social and cultural uniqueness of each student. This connection inspires students to flourish and develop self-esteem to achieve academic expectations.
In our ever-changing society, education must embrace creativity to inspire divergent thinking, a process that explores many possibilities to solve a problem. At Seventh Fire Secondary School, we work closely with parents and students to guide and support their educational experience to achieve both personal and educational success.
