Educational Philosophy:

I’m so proud to be a part of such a hard working, diverse team in this fun and innovative school.  We meet the academic, physical and emotional needs of our students through a holistic approach to learning. It’s not just their knowledge that students bring to the table; it’s what they bring on a personal, emotional and spiritual level as well. Every student is unique and it’s my job to unpack how we can use their strengths to help them in areas that they may be struggling with. I run the Alternative Education Program where students have a safe, quiet, inclusive space to work in and receive the extra support that might be missed in larger schools. I support youth who have struggled academically in previous years and schools; my personal success as an educator is measured by their individual successes. I work closely with individual students and their families sharing ideas and thoughts on how they can reach their full potential. We have created a strong cohesive school community and the Alternative Education Program is at the heart of it. Teamwork makes the dream work and we invite students and their families to be part of our growing team.
